Ride the ACT Portugal
The Adventure Country Tracks (ACT) have become one of Europe’s most sought-after adventure riding experiences, taking riders through remote mountain landscapes, quiet villages and spectacular gravel roads rarely seen by ordinary tourists.

These dates have been selected to take advantage of excellent riding conditions in Portugal while perfectly aligning with the ABR Festival in the UK.

Bookings will open once the itinerary, accommodation, motorcycle partners and pricing have been confirmed. Everyone on the priority list will receive advance notice before the tour is released publicly.
We’re planning a guided adventure of approximately 12 to 14 days, including riding in Portugal and finishing at the ABR Festival in the UK.
Every rider will be provided with a CFMOTO 450 MT, a lightweight adventure motorcycle that’s perfectly suited to the varied terrain of ACT Portugal.
Yes. Fuel for the motorcycle throughout the ACT Portugal portion of the tour is included.
Absolutely. A dedicated support vehicle will accompany the group throughout the Portugal ride, carrying luggage and providing a backup motorcycle if required.
Accommodation during the Portugal section will be in comfortable, carefully selected 4-star hotels, while the UK portion includes camping at the ABR Festival with your tent and air mattress provided.
Yes. Optional riding gear rental will be available, including boots, helmet, body armour, knee guards, riding apparel and hydration packs.
Yes. While we’ll be riding sections of the ACT, the route is being planned specifically with beginner to intermediate adventure riders in mind. The focus is on enjoying the scenery and building confidence rather than tackling extreme technical terrain.
Very little. Our goal is to create a seamless experience where most of the major logistics – including flights, accommodation and motorcycle rental – are taken care of. You’ll simply need to arrange your travel documents and pack your riding gear.
Please note: SA passport holders will require two visas. A Schengen visa and a UK visa. Shengen visas take 15 working days to process from the date of visa appointment and the UK about 3 weeks maximum. Process for both these visas is mostly online and then the traveller appears in person to do biometrics.
The cost for the Shengen visa is ±R1800 + ±R340 for BLS admin fee (company that processes the visas) and the UK visa is ± R3200.
To maintain a personal and enjoyable experience, we’re planning to limit the group to approximately 10–12 riders.
